Pre-K to Grade 8
In response to COVID-19, UUCSW is currently not holding in-person children’s Religious Education classes. Instead, we are offering our families monthly spiritual resource packets that provide enrichment activities to do together at home; organizing online small group classes using the UUA’s “Crossing Paths” world religions curriculum; and hosting regular socially-distanced group outings and service projects to help our kids stay connected to one another.
Coming of Age
In grade 8, UUCSW youth may participate in our Coming of Age program, which helps them to explore the many ways in which the principles of Unitarian Universalism can be lived in the world, and encourages them to start to articulate their own emerging beliefs. The program culminates in a Coming of Age ceremony held each spring.
This group is for high school students who are looking for a spiritual safe haven to be who they are while making friends and developing their faith. UUCSW’s Youth Group open to all teens regardless of their faith, race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, or differing abilities.
