We hope to explore the origins of Memorial Day, and to see more clearly the difference between patriotism and nationalism in a “non-political” way. We invite you to dig up and bring photos and/or stories from your own family experiences regarding those in active service as well as veterans that we honor for their service. At the end of the service we may place flowers at the graves of veterans in a nearby cemetery for those interested. Please join us the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, and remember to bring your own family photos and stories to share. Service led by Kim Hall.
