Each month, UUCSW shares our Sunday collections equally with a non-profit organization that does work in the wider community that is aligned with our UU principles and values, through our “Share the Plate” program. May 2023: Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative

The Cape Cod Climate Change Collaborative is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to reduce ways in which the Cape & Islands region contributes to climate change and to protect our region from its potentially devastating impacts.

January 2023: UU Mass Action

December 2022: The Queen Street homeless shelter

November 2022: Team Rubicon

October 2022: The Jane Fund of Central Massachusetts

Organization Eligibility Criteria:
– Mission consistent with UU principles and values
– Non-profit organization with 501c3 status
– Nominated by a UUCSW member with direct knowledge of the organization

Share the Plate Selection Criteria:
– Donation would make a meaningful difference to the organization
– Opportunity for alignment with Sunday service themes
– Recipient organizations represent diverse missions and target populations
