Rev. Misty-Dawn will share ways to honor every day sacred moments at home and with family. We will hold our Blessing of the Backpacks. This includes honoring those students, educators, bus drivers, carpool parents, and all who are preparing to enter a new school year. Bring your backpacks, work bags, laptops, tablets, car keys, or other symbols of what you will carry into this new year. To bless is to “infuse with the sacred.” All are invited to mark the turning point of our summer into the preparation for the fall with this service of blessing.
