Names are powerful things. The names we use for ourselves, and for others, shape perception…and can help to shape reality. This applies to everything from ideas, and concepts, and brand names…and especially to people. Throughout history, even going back to biblical times, names and titles have been given, and changed, and claimed. In this sermon, we’ll reflect on the name(s) we choose for ourselves, and the names we choose for others, and the power those names have.
